The Sweet Taste of Freedom — Bear Blend’s New Shaman CBD Blend

by Jul 29, 2019Herbs, Thoughts2 comments

Legalization — freedom slowly but surely — tastes sweet and delicious. But Prohibition’s been a long weird night. We’ve all been tripped out in an American D.A.R.E. Dystopia.

And the aftermath feels like coming down in the early morning darkness at a Kesey Acid Test, the leather wings of Hells Angels dancing in the firelight shadows of Redwood trees like a Ginsberg poem, police “red lights revolving in the leaves.”

We’re still riding out the residuals. The Drug War’s been a long strange trip. It’s not over yet, but at least some freedom’s starting to seep through an open window like a bright Sunday morning on the Fourth of July.

Hazy Legalization

Last December, the 2018 Farm Bill effectively legalized hemp in a gift of freedom stashed behind the Christmas tree like the Red Ryder BB Gun of the American Dream.

The bill also legalized — or at the very least more legitimized — CBD, the nonpsychoactive ingredient in hemp that proponents say eases anxiety, pain, nausea — even the debilitating effects of epilepsy. It doesn’t get you high — but say goodbye to muscle spasms.

And yet CBD’s state-by-state legality remains as cloudy as the Dude’s recollection of Slayer’s ‘86 summer tour. The Dude may abide, but details are still a little hazy.

It’s a confusing cluster-mess to say the least. Technically, the Farm Bill (now law) classifies CBD with minimal THC separately from marijuana — essentially any CBD derived from hemp, not cannabis. In 2018, the DEA issued an internal directive: “The mere presence of cannabinoids is not itself dispositive as to whether a substance is within the scope of the (Controlled Substances Act).”

But anything derived from plants containing more than .3% THC is still classified Schedule 1 — no medical value with a high capacity for abuse. Unlike cocaine, which is Schedule 2 and great for tots!

Tread Carefully — A Fine Line for Grandmas on Vacation

Regardless of classification changes at the federal level, states are largely left to figure out the legal logistics for themselves. And like gay couples before 2015 who didn’t know if their marriages would be honored when they crossed state lines, CBD users have no clue if they’ll be stripped searched and paddy wagoned anytime they go on vacation.

Seriously. Disney arrested Grandma last spring. In some parts of the country, convent stoner nuns grow weed for Jesus. And in others — you can do serious time for hand cream.

Like we said, the winding down of Prohibition’s pretty trippy and a little messed up. We’re starting to come down, but those flying saucer residuals are freaking weird. E.T. phone home — it’s the only call the wrinkly little guy’s allowed. Turns out the CBD was in his finger the whole time. (It’s great for joint pain!)

Introducing Shaman Blend — a Our New Herbal CBD Mix

Regardless of the legal semantics — it’s clearly time to celebrate. Some people pop champagne. We’d like to pop the top off our new Shaman Blend.

Like bubbly, this new Bear Blend is sweet and smells like flowers. It’s a full-bodied flavorful smoke. The new mix features a blend of herbs including Bearberry — a spiritual smoking herb so named by Native Americans because bears love the berries. Its flowery sweetness stems from Calendula and Rose.

Shaman is an aromatic blend of organic ceremonial herbs and high terpene hemp CBD flower. Specially blended for healing and ceremony, this magical hand-crafted blend pays homage to the medicine men and women around the world. Hand made using Raw Paper cones, our hemp CBD prerolls are the best that you will find.

Bear Blend is made from the finest herbs; certified organic, biodynamic and fair trade. The blends are hand-crafted in a certified organic facility in Southern California.

The Shaman blend is only available for purchase in the US. Not available for international customers … yet!

Each tin comes with a pack of 10 Shaman Rolliez sealed for freshness. Go Herbal. Get Blended™. Celebrate Wisely.

But unlike any of the champagne we’ve tried from France, this herbal smoking blend also features CBD — naturally sourced from hemp grown locally here in California.

Our new Shaman Blend imbues a sweet flavor with an inspiring energy. The Shaman name alludes to its healing powers. Traditionally, Shamans treat sickness caused by malevolent spirits. This new blend inspires creative and healing spirits to counteract the Draconian energy that’s possessed this medicinal plant since the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937.

Our Shaman Blend is meant to awaken the Third Eye — the wisdom and knowledge that’s always been there, smack dab in the middle of our foreheads — only sleeping.

Blink. It’s a beautiful sunny morning and the future is bright. Whether you imbibe this organic herbal blend as a smoke, tincture, vape, or tea, raise it high — life’s a beautiful ceremony. Enjoy it!

A little less trippy jargon, please. The Ken Kesey Acid Tests are part of what politicized LSD, got us into this mess, and deprived humanity of the blessings of psychedelics for 50 years.

Thanks for your input, Peter. With all due respect, LSD was politicized out of fear of the unknown, not a day-glow bus and a few tie-dye t-shirts. We prefer to embrace the winds of change so humanity can continue to be blessed with a “Furthur” herbal Renaissance.
